Proclaiming Grace Outreach is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization whose mission is to help those in need of food, clothing, and small home repair in the New Kent and James City County area. In 2014, nearly 80,000 pounds of food was given out through the PGO Food Pantry. They work with other organizations to provide food for the weekend backpacks for Stone House Elementary School students in need. Since their creation in 2008, they have worked with the New Kent Humane Society and New Kent Animal Shelter to give over $13,000 to the animals as well and have given out $10,000 in New Kent High School Scholarships. Their goal is to build the Jenna Grace King Outreach Center that will house their service operations, thrift store, and allow them to have classroom space and multipurpose area to offer more services to more people.
