Welcome to the 5th Annual Pickin' N Pullin' BBQ Competition

If you are anything like us, you are tired of the cold weather and anxious to try out some new BBQ recipes. Pickin' N Pullin' is one of the first events of the year on the Virginia KCBS circuit. Last year's competition was a big success for the growth of the event and the funds you all raised for Procaliming Grace Outreach. We thank all of you for participating and look forward to seeing you again in 2018.

Why is Pickin' N Pullin' the competition you don’t want to miss?

Pickin N Pullin is held at Rockahock Campground which means all competitors have full hookup campsites with water, electric and sewer. The grounds have a bathhouse, a restaurant, lodging, a playground and much more. Rockahock has WiFi (upgraded last summer) and cable TV hookups! We look forward to having you as our guest.

Will there be Festivities at this year's event?

Absolutely! This year Rockahock Campground has partnered with Proclaiming Grace Outreach to bring the patrons of the Pickin’ N Pullin’ BBQ Competition an action packed day of family friendly fun. There will be live entertainment, an inflatable bounce house park, vendors, a silent auction and great tasting BBQ of course. Check out the Schedule of Events for more details!
